Three ways to hold a PCB
Tray mount screws the plate straight onto the case, so every keystroke hits metal. Top mount adds a little flex. Gasket mount goes further by cushioning the plate between foam strips, letting the whole deck move slightly under your fingers.
What it changes for gaming
Sound gets deeper and less hollow, and long sessions feel easier on the fingers because the board absorbs some of the shock. The AULA F75 Max is a great example of gasket mount done affordably, paired with its TFT screen and Reaper switches.

Try a tray mount office board and then a gasket mounted one back to back. The difference is instant, especially in sound. Once you type on a good gasket build, going back feels like typing on a table.
